Eric Lumiere with Jeff Morgan - In Memory of Lives Lost

My dear friend Eric and his high school mate Jeff wrote this song. It is a lovely song. Please hear it provided in the link at the end of this page. Many thanks for your time.

9 - 11 (In memory of 9. 11. 2001)
By

I first started songwriting with Jeff Morgan in high school, before I knew how to play guitar (I started in college). We wrote this song the day after the World Trade Center attack, when I was 16 and Jeff was 14. I figured it's about time to share it with the world, so I sat down yesterday after recording Jeff's guitar line and produced the track until 4am this morning. I hope you enjoy it and can see the perspective of learning and growing from all things. While such tragedy is never necessary, it brought us together as a country and a species. We are all human and we are all one. God Bless.

Lyrics
Verse 1
Today the sun came down much to early
It asked the world to open its eyes
The souls upon the ground will be forever
They'll live each day within our hearts

Chorus
This is what we call a new beginning
Oh the day of 9-11 has left us spinning
And how we take this pain, we take it together
And now it's time to change for the better, for the better

Verse 2
Don't be afraid to cry
Just let it go
Forgiveness is all we need to move
And when we look back, we look back upon this day
We will be thankful for the lesson it has taught us

Chorus
This is what we call a new beginning
Oh the day of 9-11 has left us spinning
And how we take this pain, we take it together
And now it's time to change for the better, for the better

Great British Fashion Stamps

In the end,
we are shaped
and fashioned
by what we love.
That is what defines us.
Who we are!
YET
it is not the clothes
that we wear
but
the personality
that lends us
the edge!

Lladró and Royal Albert and a Bit of History

The Royal Albert Lady Carlyle Montrose Vase, The Scientia from Lladró, and the limited edition votive from Lladró too, that sit primly in my bedroom, on top of the two hundred-year-old rosewood bookcase that belonged to my grandfather.
